Robert Stein

Let me introduce myself, Robert Stein.


Robert has had a passion for business since a very young age. After starting his first consulting company at 18 he developed an even larger love for helping other businesses succeed. At that same age Robert started working for an engineering company as his day job doing machine design for the automotive industry. Robert has spent the last 17 years in various roles focused around engineering and engineering software.
After working at two different companies as both mechanical and electrical designers Robert had the opportunity to shift into more of a consultant position with a reseller of engineering software. Very quickly Robert moved into a lead consulting role helping others grow into consultants. During his time as a consultant at the re-seller Robert spent time implementing software and transforming company’s business process to realize the full benefits of their software investment. Robert also led a team of developers to build a few software applications while at the re-seller
After leaving the re-seller Robert went back to the industry to continue gaining more experience and to leverage his consulting experience. Robert implemented 3D design practices along with streamlined data management practices before leaving to work for the software company he now works at. Robert has spent the last 2 years as a consultant transforming global leader’s business practices by utilizing our software.
Robert has presented for the past 10 years at Autodesk University and AUGI CAD Camps on various topics including software specific topics as well as business topics. Robert has a well-rounded skill-set including years behind the wheel of the software, business process, software support, software development and technical sales.
Robert lives in Michigan, U.S. with his wife, Kimberly. They have twin 9 year old boys, Hunter and Zachary. A 5 year old boy, Wyatt and 3 year old daughter, Cheyenne. When Robert is not traveling for business he spends as much time with the family as possible.
